About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for the management of base business protection projects and programmes from development until launch in the market. You will be working with multi-functional project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. You will be responsible for building and managing project timelines, estimating and managing budget and resources, managing risks, monitoring progress and communicating status to upper management.

Your role will focus on the delivery of strategic programmes within the Germ Protection Category, working with the cross functional teams to deliver all aspects of the programmes whilst ensuring portfolio interdependencies are mapped enabling
flawless execution.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple product and business protection projects across the portfolio.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, budgets, resource plans, risk assessments, and governance documentation.
• Coordinate and influence cross-functional teams to deliver agreed project outcomes.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and critical project paths.
• Monitor project performance, drive accountability, and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Provide regular project updates, reporting, and escalation to senior leadership and governance forums.
• Support portfolio planning, prioritisation, and execution activities.
• Maintain accurate project data within corporate project management systems.

The experience we're looking for

• Strong project management expertise, including proficiency in Microsoft Project.
• Degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience managing product development projects within FMCG; health sector experience is advantageous.
• PMP or other project management qualification preferred.
• Excellent planning, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, organisational skills, and resilience in a fast-paced environment.

• A proactive, results-oriented project manager who thrives in dynamic environments.
• Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Effective communicator and change agent who can navigate ambiguity and drive execution.
