About the role:
As a Quality Documentation Officer within Global QA / Global GCA + Customer Quality, you will ensure professional and timely responses to customer questions and documentation requirements. You will support documentation-related complaint activities, help ensure customer requirements are understood and implemented across the organization, and communicate new requirements when they arise. This role is based in Europe, ideally Lodz, and reports to GCA & Customer Quality Europe.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide professional and timely responses to customer requirements and inquiries.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to discuss possibilities, restrictions, and alternative solutions.
- Ensure customer requirements are implemented within Barry Callebaut quality systems, including certificate profiles.
- Analyze customer inquiries to identify recurring topics and opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- Identify improvement areas, define action plans, and follow up on implementation where appropriate.
- Review projects and provide feedback on the impact of customer requirements.
- Support the integration of ESG requirements into customer quality documentation.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or an equivalent field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Ideally, at least 3 years of experience in quality- or documentation-related positions.
- Background in the food industry is preferred.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Knowledge of another European language is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail while maintaining awareness of the broader business context.
- Comfortable working with and communicating across a matrix organization.
- Collaborative team player with a flexible and innovative mindset.
- Ability to travel occasionally.
