Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master
Location : On-site at the Customer's headquarters in Washington, DC.
Clearance/Screening Requirements : SECRET personnel security clearance issued by the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), required prior to contract performance.
Position Summary:
PBG is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master to support a headquarters professional support services program for our Customer, a Federal agency. This position serves as the primary Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, fostering an environment that encourages collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement. The program provides approximately two hundred (200) professional support personnel across the Customer's nine (9) headquarters offices in the Greater Washington, DC region, with growth expected over the life of the contract. The role implements and manages Quality Management Systems (QMS) in alignment with International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 standards to ensure high-quality deliverables, and removes impediments to the teams' progress.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master shall be responsible for the following:
- Serve as the primary Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams.
- Foster an environment that encourages collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Implement and manage QMS in alignment with ISO 9001 standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Proactively identify and remove impediments that may hinder the teams' progress.
- Protect the teams from external distractions.
- Prepare written communication in accordance with the Customer's writing guide, free of typos, grammar discrepancies, and formatting flaws.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of experience.
- Strong understanding of Scrum practices.
- Proven track record of implementing a QMS in compliance with ISO 9001.
- Proficiency using standard Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio, and Power BI.
- Bachelor's degree, or nine (9) years of experience.
- Agile or Scrum certification (PMI-ACP, CSM, or CSP).
- SECRET personnel security clearance issued by the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), required prior to contract performance.
