Could you be the full-time VIE - Electrification Project Coordinator in Toronto we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your project coordination and electrification expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You’ll play a key role in supporting the Electrification management team for the project, contributing to the success of electrification initiatives. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Construction, Project Management, and more), assist in consolidating KPIs through automated dashboards, and support documentation management activities.
You’ll specifically take care of coordinating interfaces and communications between project teams and stakeholders, but also preparing and managing internal and external project reporting.
We’ll look to you for:
- Coordinating interfaces and communications between project teams, stakeholders, partners, suppliers, and customers
- Preparing and managing internal and external project reporting, including KPI dashboards, management reviews, and customer reports
- Consolidating and analysing project performance data using tools such as Excel and Power BI
- Supporting project governance activities, including meetings, action tracking, decision logs, and reporting schedules
- Maintaining and monitoring the Electrification Deliverables List, ensuring timely completion and submission of project deliverables
- Supporting document management processes, including document tracking and publication workflows
- Coordinating subcontractor and supplier activities, including support for business cases and approval processes
- Preparing meeting minutes, presentations, and management reports, and tracking follow-up actions to closure
- Supporting project planning, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Conducting benchmarking activities and identifying best practices across Alstom Electrification projects

- Enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering
- Desirable: Enrolled in a Master's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or Project Management
- Good understanding of Electrification subsystems
- Knowledge of PMO processes
- Autonomy, result-oriented, and solution-oriented mindset
- Fluency in English (a second language is appreciated)
- Knowledge of Railway Electrification systems or interest in Railway Engineering
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI, Visio, macro programming languages, and project management software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Analytical and critical thinking
- Problem-solving ability and resilience
