ERP/EPM Transformation & Platform Lead
POSITION LOCATION
Richmond, VA
This position is available to Virginia residents as Richmond, Virginia in-office applicants
*A Hybrid schedule of both Remote and In-Office days is required. In office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with working hours targeting our core business hours of 9am-5pm EST.
YOUR ROLE
As the ERP/EPM Transformation & Platform Lead, you will serve as the technology owner for Genworth's Oracle ERP and Enterprise Performance Management platforms, leading implementation, integration, governance, and ongoing platform evolution. You will be responsible for ensuring ERP and EPM solutions are designed, implemented, enhanced, and operated in a scalable, supportable, and secure manner while delivering business value across Finance and Corporate Functions.
This role begins as a key leader for Finance Modernization and transitions into long-term ownership of the ERP/EPM application ecosystem, including platform roadmap management, vendor engagement, release planning, integration strategy, and continuous improvement.
What you will be doing
- Act as the liaison among Finance, Technology, implementation partners, vendors, and current application teams.
- Lead requirements, process design, solution validation, implementation planning, and conversion readiness.
- Coordinate testing, defect resolution, traceability, business decisions, and cutover readiness.
- Connect legacy/current teams with the future platform team for integrations, data conversion, reconciliation, and controls.
- Define the operating model, support model, governance, and knowledge-transfer requirements before go-live.
- Own the post-go-live platform roadmap, SaaS release evaluation, adoption planning, and strategic enhancements.
- After implementation, the role remains accountable for ERP/EPM as a business capability by translating Finance priorities into a governed roadmap, guiding SaaS adoption, coordinating data and reporting dependencies, and sustaining business outcomes.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, actuarial science, mathematics, engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- ERP/EPM system implementation and ownership experience
- Strong experience in Business Systems Analysis / Product Analysis, with demonstrated ownership of complex initiatives.
- Experience partnering with IT, cloud, data engineering, security, and business teams to design and deliver application enhancements across integrated systems and controlled environments.
- Ability to lead complex technical initiatives or small technical teams, coordinate internal and external resources, manage competing priorities, and communicate risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools to support code translation, modernization, testing, documentation, or developer productivity while maintaining appropriate review and control discipline.
- Strong critical thinking, analytical, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide team members with strong product expertise, while actively driving and supporting their upskill in Python programming.
COMPENSATION
National Range: $120,900-$187,000
Disclaimer: This role is aligned to a national market-based pay range. Actual compensation will vary based on geographic location, experience, skills, and other job[1]related factors. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible to participate in a bonus incentive plan. Incentive compensation is based on individual and company performance and is not guaranteed.
