About this role
The Training and Competency Specialist administers and supports employee training, competency assurance, and onboarding programs to ensure personnel are qualified, compliant, and prepared to perform their roles safely and effectively. This position partners with Operations, Human Resources Managers, and Training Providers to coordinate training activities, maintain competency records, support workforce development initiatives, and manage new hire onboarding.
- Degree or equivalent experience, Training and Development preferred.
- Experienced in the development, updating and administration of competency programs.
- Extensive knowledge of training required to support HSE and Manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrable experience in training administration, learning and development, competency management, or a related field.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
