Manufacturing Engineer, Mechanical Job Description Join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in the build and inspection processes for mechanical assemblies and systems integration across various product lines. You will work closely with engineers, subject matter experts, and technicians to refine manufacturing processes and ensure optimal design and business outcomes. Responsibilities
- Responsible for the build and inspection process for mechanical assemblies and systems integration across product lines.
- Develop, qualify, and refine manufacturing processes and work instructions to meet all design and business requirements, including safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery.
- Collaborate with other engineers, subject matter experts, and technicians to solve internal and customer production challenges.
- Work with the product engineering team to evaluate designs for manufacturability and implementation in a rapidly evolving production environment.
- Resolve product non-conformances and collaborate with the quality team to implement root cause corrective actions.
- Identify, plan, and execute capital equipment, machine, and layout upgrades to meet growing production demand.
- Develop and refine floor layouts, capacity models, and product flow analysis to ensure on-time product delivery to customers.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, manufacturing, aerospace, materials, or industrial engineering.
- 5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or production.
- Proficiency in using CAD software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with the build, assembly, or integration of mixed electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Knowledge of mechanical/hardware systems manufacturing techniques, processes, and equipment, including welding, fastening, drilling, bonding, and inspection verifications.
- Mechanical component and/or tooling design and analysis experience using 3D CAD software.
- Experience with design for manufacture and assembly (DFMA).
- Experience transitioning complex products from R&D to high-volume manufacturing in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience writing work instructions and procedures.
Work Environment This position requires you to work 100% onsite in Torrance. You will have the opportunity to be hands-on with the systems we are building and deploying to customers, work across multiple teams as production operations integrate engineering, supply chain, and operations to build comprehensive systems.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $155000.00 - $180000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. we're committed to rewarding and supporting our team.
