About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Human Resources Compensation & Systems Specialist to join a growing Human Resources team supporting one of the region's largest healthcare systems. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working with compensation programs, HR systems, employee data, reporting, and process improvement. The successful candidate will serve as a key resource for compensation administration, HRIS management, employee data integrity, and HR analytics while partnering with leaders across Human Resources, Payroll, IT, and Operations. Please Note: This is an HR-focused role. Candidates with Human Resources, HRIS, Compensation, Total Rewards, or HR Analytics experience are encouraged to apply. Software development, programming, and IT engineering experience are not required.

What You'll Be Doing
- Support the administration and maintenance of compensation programs, salary structures, and pay practices.
- Review employee and candidate information to assist with compensation decisions for new hires, promotions, transfers, and other employment changes.
- Conduct compensation analysis, job evaluations, salary benchmarking, and job classification reviews.
- Analyze market salary data to ensure competitive and equitable pay practices.
- Maintain accurate employee information within the HRIS environment.
- Perform audits of HR and employee data, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Support HRIS updates, system enhancements, testing efforts, and ongoing maintenance activities.
- Create and distribute HR reports, dashboards, and data analyses for leadership and Human Resources teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR workflows, reporting functionality, data accuracy, and system processes.
- Collaborate with Human Resources, Payroll, IT, Finance, and operational leaders on employee data and HR systems initiatives.
- Ensure confidentiality of employee, compensation, and organizational information.
- Provide guidance to managers and HR team members regarding compensation processes and HR systems.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of HRIS experience .
- Experience administering and maintaining HR systems and employee data.
- Experience supporting compensation programs, salary administration, or compensation analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience generating reports and working with HR data.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain data accuracy.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage confidential employee information with discretion.

- Experience with Workday , Oracle , or similar HRIS platforms.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glens Falls, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.97 - $38.46/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
