About this role
As a Senior Survey Programmer, you will be part of a dynamic group tasked to develop and deploy consumer-research surveys. You will be expected to program surveys based on external and internal client requirements, including developing custom solutions when the need arises. You will be expected to design and develop new survey designs, innovate and improve processes, and mentor junior programmers.
What You’ll Do:
- Programs large, complex and highly visible surveys within established timelines
- Use the Confirmit survey platform to program and deploy research surveys
- Develop JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code
- Develop/improve new survey types and tools
- Troubleshoot and quickly resolve programming and data issues as needed
- Mentors, trains and coaches junior programmers
- Perform detailed user testing on research surveys
- Concurrently handle several projects to accommodate deadlines
- Demonstrate impeccable organization skills and attention to detail
What You’ll Need:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Web Design, Software Development or related field
- 3+ years relevant work experience
- Proficient in JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Solid programing logic and full understanding of syntax writing to develop custom scripts for Market Research
- Pro-active & creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written/oral communication skills and able to document processes and logs as needed
- Professional maturity
- Able to work as member of a cohesive team
Things that will push you to the front of the line:
- Experience with the Confirmit fielding platform
- Experience in having worked independently on large projects with medium degree of complexity
- Experience designing/developing web content and apps
- Solid understanding of algorithm development
Shift Timing:
The regular hours for this position will cover a combination of business hours in the US and India – typically 2PM-11PM IST. Occasionally, later hours may be required for meetings with teams in other parts of the world. Additionally, for the first 4-6 weeks of onboarding and training, US Eastern time hours (IST -9:30) may be required.
