Sales Operations Associate/ Admin

St. Louis, MO Job Description The Sales Operations Associate/ Admin is responsible for supporting sales managers through the coordination and administration of sales activities. The role includes preparing sales shipping reports, coordinating with accounting, and ordering equipment for jobs. The position also involves providing customer service to Channel Partners, maintaining job files, processing order changes, and ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining high levels of communication. Responsibilities

- Support sales managers by coordinating and administering sales activities.
- Prepare sales shipping reports, open jobs, and coordinate with accounting.
- Order equipment for jobs and review and send acknowledgments to salesmen.
- Provide customer service to Channel Partners by answering questions about orders and general inquiries.
- Coordinate deliveries and maintain open and closed job files, including work orders, purchase orders, material transfers, shipping requests, invoices, and acknowledgments.
- Process order changes and follow up with Freight Carriers, Quotation Representatives, Field Equipment Representatives, and Sales Representatives.
- Prepare and maintain job files with relevant paperwork.
- Issue purchase orders to manufacturing plants for required equipment.
- Manage monthly billing and prepare accurate monthly job forecasting.
- Verify credit approvals and maintain FBM updates and weekly SSS required PBI reports.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high levels of communication through job completion.
- Provide written correspondence to customers, vendors, and managers.
- Research billing discrepancies and assist in resolving issues.

Qualifications

- High School Education required
- 0-2 years of experience
- Basic understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of detailed aspects
- Ability to deal with a variety of problems and customer questions
- Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues
- Limited decision-making and limited customer exposure

Work Environment The position is 100% onsite. The work schedule requires presence during core business hours of 9-3 PM, with flexibility to start as early as 7 AM or as late as 9 AM. The role involves a 40-hour work week with no expected overtime. Initially, the position is fully onsite with potential for hybrid work after conversion, based on performance. The assignment is for 3 months with a possibility of extension or conversion to a contract-to-hire position.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
