Job Summary:
Graduate Medical Education & Family Medicine Residency Coordinator Assistant
This position supports the Family Medicine Residency Program by assisting with medical student onboarding, scheduling, evaluation tracking, and communication between the Family Medicine Residency Program and the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Office. The role also collaborates with the Family Medicine Clinic and ODMHSAS initiatives to support educational and clinical program operations.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Family Medicine Residency & Medical Student Support
- Assist with onboarding OU Grant medical students participating in Family Medicine Residency rotations and educational experiences.
- Coordinate onboarding requirements, including documentation, orientation materials, access requests, and compliance tracking.
- Develop, maintain, and distribute student rotation schedules.
- Coordinate schedules with faculty, residents, clinic staff, and affiliated departments.
- Monitor completion of required student evaluations, faculty evaluations, and rotation assessments.
- Follow up with students, residents, and faculty regarding outstanding evaluations and educational requirements.
- Maintain accurate records related to student participation, schedules, and evaluation completion.
- Provide administrative support for educational activities, meetings, and residency events.
Graduate Medical Education Reporting
- Serve as a liaison between the Family Medicine Residency Program and the Graduate Medical Education Office.
- Report onboarding status, scheduling updates, evaluation completion rates, and other program-related metrics as requested.
- Maintain records to support accreditation, program compliance, and educational reporting requirements.
- Assist with preparation of reports, audits, and documentation required by GME leadership.
Family Medicine Clinic & ODMHSAS Collaboration
- Assist the Family Medicine Clinic with operational and educational initiatives in collaboration with ODMHSAS.
- Coordinate communication and scheduling activities related to ODMHSAS partnerships and clinical education experiences.
- Support clinic projects, data tracking, and reporting requirements associated with ODMHSAS programs.
- Assist with organizing meetings, educational activities, and collaborative initiatives between residency, clinic, and ODMHSAS stakeholders.
