We are expanding our team and seeking a Senior Financial Analyst with 5+ years of relevant experience to support our financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function. This individual will deliver meaningful financial insights, support planning and forecasting, and partner with field and corporate leadership to improve business performance.

The successful candidate brings strong analytical judgment, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to translate complex financial and operational data into actionable recommendations. This is a hybrid role based in central Denver, with two days in office per week.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and analyses to evaluate performance, provide business insights, identify opportunities, and support decision-making.

- Interpret financial and operational data to identify trends, explain results and variances through root cause analysis, and provide guidance to field and corporate leadership.

- Partner with stakeholders across the organization to turn analysis into action, monitor progress, and achieve better business outcomes.

- Support the company’s financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting cycles, including developing assumptions, maintaining financial models, and evaluating risks and opportunities.

- Develop and maintain recurring reporting, dashboards, and key performance indicators that provide visibility into revenue, expenses, profitability, and operational performance.

- Identify and implement improvements to systems, processes, and data quality to enhance reporting accuracy, efficiency, and impact.

- Perform ad hoc financial and operational analyses, including scenario modeling, business case evaluations, and special projects as needed.

- Present findings and recommendations clearly, connecting financial results to business drivers and practical next steps.

Minimum Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, strategic finance, or a related financial analysis role.

- Demonstrated experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance reporting.

- Strong understanding of financial statements and the operational drivers of revenue, expenses, and profitability.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including financial modeling, complex formulas, pivot tables, and analysis of large data sets.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate variances, identify underlying causes, and develop actionable recommendations.

- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to financial and non-financial audiences.

- Demonstrated ability to independently manage analyses and deliver accurate work while balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across functions.

- High degree of integrity and discretion when handling confidential business information.

- Proactive approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a multi-site, healthcare, veterinary services, or private equity backed organization.

- Experience using Power BI, Power Query, or similar reporting and data analysis tools.

- Familiarity with financial planning software, ERP systems, and integrating data from multiple sources.

- Experience supporting a growing or acquisitive organization.

This is a good-faith estimate based on the role's requirements at the time of posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This position is also eligible for bonus and incentive compensation, the terms of which will be provided at the time of offer. Colorado Pay Range $70,000 — $95,000 USD
