Responsibilities:

- Advise Combatant Command, National Mission Force, JTF, and Interagency elements on employing Irregular Warfare (IW) capabilities to identify, characterize, and counter nuclear and WMD threats.
- Develop operational approaches employing conventional, irregular, and improvised capabilities to address weapons of strategic effect across competition, crisis, and contingency operations.
- Provide expertise on specially compartmented material and non-material capabilities and their application through multi-domain techniques.
- Integrate IW and WMD considerations throughout the Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP), from mission analysis and COA development through orders production.
- Maintain situational awareness of Special Access Programs (SAP), Special Technical Operations (STO), ACCM, sensitive activities, operational units, and friendly and adversary capabilities.
- Assess WMD threats, adversary capabilities, networks, and vulnerabilities to identify opportunities for conventional and irregular approaches.
- Develop recommendations for operational concepts, capabilities, authorities, risks, and mitigation measures supporting IW and WMD operations.
- Synchronize conventional forces, special operations, intelligence, technical capabilities, and sensitive activities supporting operational and strategic objectives.
- Coordinate with Combatant Command staffs, JTFs, National Mission Force elements, interagency organizations, and mission partners on WMD planning and operations.
- Provide senior leaders with planning recommendations, assessments, and briefings supporting complex IW and WMD mission requirements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in National Security Studies, Strategic Studies, International Relations, Military Science, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience supporting Irregular Warfare, Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD), Special Operations, sensitive activities, intelligence, or related missions.
- Demonstrated experience applying JOPP, including mission analysis, COA development, operational planning, and orders production.
- Experience integrating conventional, irregular, intelligence, special operations, and sensitive capabilities against complex nuclear or WMD threats.
- Ability to advise senior leaders on WMD threats, operational approaches, authorities, risks, and opportunities within sensitive mission environments.

Desired Qualifications

- Master's degree in National Security Studies, Strategic Studies, Military Operations, WMD Studies, or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting Geographic Combatant Commands, JTFs, National Mission Force elements, SOF, or interagency CWMD organizations.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with experience supporting SAP, STO, ACCM, compartmented programs, or other sensitive activities.

Pay Range :

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:
$78,000 - $163,800
