### Position Overview
The Medical Assistant provides safe and efficient patient care under the supervision of licensed providers and nursing staff. This back-office focused role includes rooming patients, collecting and documenting vital signs, preparing charts, maintaining exam rooms, and supporting daily clinic operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing a busy patient schedule.
### Responsibilities
Room and prepare patients for provider appointments. Obtain and accurately document vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and weight. Prepare patient charts and ensure all necessary documentation is completed before provider visits. Utilize EMR/EHR systems to maintain accurate patient records. Set up exam rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available. Clean, stock, and organize rooms between patients. Support patient flow and assist in maintaining efficient clinic operations. Provide basic patient education and follow-up instructions as directed by the provider. Work closely with an assigned provider and participate in daily team huddles. Perform additional clinical and administrative duties within the Medical Assistant scope of practice.
### Qualifications
Medical Assistant Certificate required Current BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification required 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience required (outpatient preferred) Experience working with EMR/EHR systems preferred Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
### Schedule & Environment
Full-time, onsite position Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Large multi-specialty outpatient clinic with 17 providers On-site laboratory and imaging center High-volume setting serving approximately 50-60 patients per day

This is a Contract position based out of THOUSAND OAKS, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
