We’re a technology company supplying aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to aerospace and defense manufacturers. We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible.

The role. We’re hiring an Assistant General Manager to turn company priorities into disciplined daily execution. You will work across manufacturing, shipping, supply chain, sales, and people operations to keep the business moving and make sure problems have clear owners.

This is a hands-on operating role. You will spend time on the floor, use data to understand performance, and step into gaps when the team needs help. You report to the General Manager.

You will:

- Run the daily operating rhythm across production, shipping, quality, and customer commitments
- Translate company goals into clear priorities, owners, and deadlines
- Track safety, throughput, on-time delivery, quality, labor, and inventory accuracy
- Identify constraints early and coordinate teams to resolve them
- Build standard work, scorecards, and operating processes that scale
- Coach managers and frontline leaders while holding a high bar for accountability
- Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management
- Help resolve urgent customer, supplier, and operational issues
- Complete other tasks as assigned

You are:

- A hands-on operator who is comfortable moving between a spreadsheet and the factory floor
- Clear, organized, and calm when priorities change
- Able to turn ambiguous problems into practical action
- Comfortable holding people accountable while earning their trust
- Strong with operating data, software, and written communication
- Deeply committed to safety, quality, and customer reliability
- Willing to work from either facility and spend time where the operation needs you

Nice to have:

- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or another operational environment
- Experience leading multiple functions or frontline managers
- Familiarity with continuous improvement, capacity planning, or operational finance
- Experience in a fast-growing company
- Comfortable using AI tools to work faster and smarter

Benefits:

- Equity in Nox Metals
- Company-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance

This role is full time and in person at our Los Angeles or Ferndale facility.
