About Nox Metals. American factories deserve a supply chain that moves as fast as they do. Nox Metals is building it, along with the tools that run it. We’re a technology company supplying aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to aerospace and defense manufacturers. We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible.
The role. We’re hiring Saw Operators to turn raw aluminum into accurate, customer-ready parts. You will set up and run industrial saws, verify material and dimensions, and record every cut accurately in our systems.
Precision matters. A safe, accurate cut protects our people, our inventory, and our customer’s schedule. You report to your Production Supervisor.
You will:
- Follow all safety procedures, machine-guarding requirements, and material-handling practices
- Read work orders and confirm the correct alloy, temper, dimensions, and quantity
- Set up and operate industrial bandsaws and related equipment
- Measure finished pieces and verify cuts before material moves downstream
- Use forklifts, cranes, and lifting equipment after training and certification
- Label, stage, and record completed material accurately
- Monitor blade condition and perform routine operator-level equipment checks
- Escalate quality, equipment, or material discrepancies immediately
- Keep the saw area clean and organized
- Complete other tasks as assigned
You are:
- Serious about safety
- Careful with measurements and details
- Steady under pressure and unwilling to trade accuracy for speed
- Comfortable working with heavy industrial equipment
- Coachable and interested in learning the metals trade
- Reliable and able to communicate clearly during shift handoffs
- Comfortable using software or willing to learn
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet for a full shift with or without reasonable accommodation
Nice to have:
- Experience operating bandsaws, production machinery, or CNC equipment
- Familiarity with tape measures, calipers, or other inspection tools
- Forklift or overhead-crane experience
- Metals, machining, or manufacturing experience
- Comfortable using AI tools to work faster and smarter
