What You'll Do
We are looking for a hands-on Nordic Data & Analytics Specialist to join our Nordic People Analytics function, within Strategic Projects & Analytics, supporting our four Nordic markets.
This role focuses on understanding our data landscape, extracting and transforming relevant data, building visualizations and dashboards, and delivering ad hoc analyses that help our leadership, People teams and key stakeholders gain sharper insights from data and make better decisions. A smaller part of your role will be to help functions experiment and adopt AI tools to work more effectively and future-proof.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of our data landscape – including datasets, how they connect, their purposes, information flows, and how it relates to actual business processes.
- Explore and quality-test our data in Snowflake, using SQL to validate fields, reconcile numbers, investigate data issues – and confirm / align with the functions owning the data and processes.
- Build and maintain reliable data pipelines at consumption / transformation layer, e.g. by extracting, transforming and validating Snowflake data for new Tableau dashboards.
- Design, build and continuously improve Tableau / BI dashboards that are used across Nordics.
- Translate stakeholder questions into concrete data needs and insightful analyses across markets and topics, e.g. headcount, hiring, attrition, engagement and much more.
- Act as the go-to technical contact for colleagues who need data support, and help them explore and prototype AI tools like Claude and Agents to keep functions at the forefront.
What You'll Bring
You are likely someone who combines strong technical skills with analytical curiosity, structured problem-solving, and a drive to improve how things work. You enjoy getting into details, understanding how data connects and flows, solving problems alone and with others, and enabling the organization through data and analytics, while staying at the forefront by developing yourself and others.
Core Skills and Competencies:
- Structured Analytics and Technical Problem-Solving: Strong analytical mindset, with the ability to structure problems, investigate data, understand how it relates, and develop practical solutions.
- Curiosity and Learning Agility: Genuine interest in understanding how things work, questioning assumptions, exploring new technologies and continuously improving.
- Ownership and Execution: Proactive, independent and reliable, with the ability to manage priorities and deliver high-quality work to agreed timelines and plans.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: You take pride in data quality, consistency and building solutions others can trust, with ability to explain and stand behind work and results.
- Stakeholder Focus: Understand stakeholder needs and translate them into useful, practical analytics solutions, working closely with stakeholders. Able to communicate findings clearly in meetings, presentations, dashboards and written communication.
- Business Understanding: Ability connect data and analytics to underlying business processes, understand what drives the numbers and identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data, Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development; also considering Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or related fields.
- Experience: Recent graduate or up to 3 years of experience in analytics, data (engineering), or a related field.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of SQL and comfort learning Snowflake; Excel; hands-on experience with data, Tableau, Tableau Prep, BI tools, and AI is advantageous.
- Languages: Fluent in English; proficiency in a Nordic language is an advantage
Above all, we value strong technical foundations, analytical curiosity, ownership, and potential over experience with specific tools or technologies.
Who You'll Work With
You will join our Nordic Analytics team, working primarily within People Analytics in our People organization, and collaborating closely with Business Analytics in our Finance organization.
Together, we support data, analytics, dashboards and AI adoption across our four Nordic markets: Sweden, Finland, Norway and Denmark.
The role is based in one of our Nordic capitals, preferably Stockholm.
