As a Screener, you will play an important role in supporting aviation security by screening passengers and inspecting baggage and luggage to help identify prohibited items and potential security threats. Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Screen passengers and inspect carry-on bags, checked luggage, and other items in accordance with applicable security procedures and training.

- Identify and report prohibited items, suspicious activity, and potential security threats.

- Conduct passenger and baggage screening using approved screening methods, procedures, and equipment.

- Assist with controlling passenger access to designated screening areas and maintaining an orderly flow through checkpoints.

- Provide clear instructions and courteous assistance to passengers throughout the screening process.

- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional, respectful, and positive attitude.

- Communicate security concerns, incidents, and operational issues promptly to supervisors.

- Follow established security protocols, company policies, airport procedures, and applicable TSA requirements.

- Maintain alertness, attention to detail, and professionalism in a busy environment with noise, distractions, and time constraints.

- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to support safe and efficient operations.

- Complete all required company, airport, and client-specific training.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Must be at least 18 years of age.

- High school diploma or GED required.

- Must successfully pass the required background check and drug screening.

- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English.

- Must have reliable transportation to and from LAX.

- Must have a reliable phone number and an active email account for communication.

- Must be able to lift, carry, or move at least 25 pounds.

- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform duties involving walking, bending, squatting, stooping, and reaching.

- Must demonstrate excellent customer service and strong communication skills.

- Must be dependable, punctual, professional, and detail-oriented.

- Must be a team player with the ability to work independently when necessary.

- Must maintain a neat, well-groomed appearance and comply with company uniform and grooming standards.

- Must successfully complete all required training and meet applicable airport and security screening requirements.

Schedule and Availability

- Flexible shifts based on business and operational needs.

- Availability to work weekends and holidays is required.

- Overtime may be required depending on business needs and operational demands.

- Scheduling and weekly hours will depend on staffing requirements and operational needs.

Qualifications

- Must be 18 years or older.

- Must have a high school diploma or GED.

- Must have reliable transportation.

- Must have a reliable telephone number for contact.

- Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and follow verbal and written instructions in English.

- Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation drug and alcohol test as required and submit

to random testing requirements.

- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and lift, squat, stoop, push, and bend

throughout the course of a shift.

- Must be able to lift, carry, and/or hold 50 pounds or more.

- Maintain a neat, well groomed, professional image and appearance at all times.

- Meet uniform standards as required.

- No facial piercings, No tattoos below the wrist or above the neck.

- Must complete any applicable Huntleigh and airline specific training as required.

- Must have a Cell Phone and E-Mail account.

- Overtime may be required without notice.

- Work environment is indoor/outdoor.
