Python Engineer (Data & Cloud Platforms)

<p>................</p><p>For our client, we are looking for an experienced <strong>Senior Python Developer</strong> to build and operate scalable software solutions and data products in a cloud-native environment.</p><p><strong>Your Responsibilities:</strong></p><h3>Software Development</h3><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable software solutions using <strong>Python</strong></li><li>Take end-to-end ownership of features from requirements and design through deployment and production support</li><li>Develop and maintain <strong>REST APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-native services</strong></li><li>Write clean, maintainable, testable, and high-quality code</li></ul><h3>Cloud &amp; Operations</h3><ul><li>Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications on <strong>Google Cloud Platform (GCP)</strong></li><li>Implement monitoring, alerting, observability, and data quality controls</li><li>Troubleshoot production issues and improve system stability, scalability, and performance</li></ul><h3>Collaboration &amp; Architecture</h3><ul><li>Collaborate with product owners, data stewards, source system teams, and business stakeholders</li><li>Contribute to architectural decisions and continuous improvement</li><li>Support business-critical applications and data products</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Your Profile:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong experience in <strong>Python software development</strong></li><li>Experience building, deploying, and operating production-grade applications</li><li>Solid understanding of <strong>software engineering, OOP, testing, and CI/CD</strong></li><li>Experience with <strong>REST APIs and microservice architectures</strong></li><li>Knowledge of <strong>GCP and cloud-native development</strong></li><li>Experience with <strong>Git-based development workflows</strong></li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and an ownership mindset</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills</li><li>Experience with <strong>Apache Beam or large-scale data processing</strong> is a plus</li><li>Experience with <strong>Terraform, Docker</strong>, or other Infrastructure as Code and containerization technologies is a plus</li><li>Knowledge of <strong>GitHub Copilot and AI-assisted software development</strong> is a plus</li><li>Fluent in English</li></ul>
