<p>................</p><p>For our client, an internationally operating company in the aviation industry, we are looking for an experienced <strong>Data Governance &amp; Data Management Specialist</strong>.</p><p><strong>Your Responsibilities:</strong></p><h3>Data Issue Resolution</h3><ul><li>Investigate and resolve data anomalies, inconsistencies, and quality issues</li><li>Identify root causes and coordinate corrective actions</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams, data providers, and external partners</li><li>Track data incidents through to resolution</li></ul><h3>Data Management &amp; Governance</h3><ul><li>Analyse business requirements and define required data assets and products</li><li>Create and maintain interface documentation, data flows, and technical specifications</li><li>Define data lineage and component dependencies</li><li>Support data modelling and the onboarding of internal and external data sources</li><li>Maintain metadata and data documentation throughout the data lifecycle</li></ul><h3>Data Quality</h3><ul><li>Define and monitor data quality KPIs, rules, and validation mechanisms</li><li>Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and integrity</li><li>Develop and improve data quality processes</li><li>Define data retention and archival concepts</li><li>Ensure compliance with GDPR and data governance policies</li></ul><h3>Data Architecture &amp; Integration</h3><ul><li>Support the evolution of the enterprise data architecture</li><li>Contribute to scalable data models, ingestion processes, and data flows</li><li>Support secure and maintainable data integration patterns</li><li>Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to improve data platform performance and reliability</li><li>Support the development and lifecycle management of Data Products</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Your Profile:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in <strong>Data Governance, Data Management, Data Stewardship, Data Engineering</strong>, or a similar role</li><li>Experience working with complex data landscapes and multiple source systems</li><li>Strong understanding of <strong>data modelling, data architecture, and data quality</strong></li><li>Solid experience with <strong>SQL and relational databases</strong></li><li>Knowledge of modern data platforms and cloud environments such as <strong>GCP, Azure, or AWS</strong></li><li>Experience with data interfaces, data flows, APIs, and data ingestion</li><li>Familiarity with <strong>data catalogues, metadata management, and data lineage</strong></li><li>Understanding of <strong>GDPR, data protection, retention, and archival requirements</strong></li><li>Experience with <strong>Data Products and Data Mesh</strong> is a plus</li><li>Experience with data catalogue solutions and enterprise data platforms is a plus</li><li>Experience in <strong>aviation, operations, logistics, or transportation</strong> is a plus</li><li>Fluent in English</li></ul>
