About this role
To Support the Safeen Transshipment functions, in the technical upkeep of the Transshipment fleet as per local, Class, Flag rules. The vessels should always be maintained to the highest industry standards & keeping in line with best industry practices
Educational and Technical Qualifications:
- Certificate of Competency (Class I) / Chief Engineer Foreign Going
- Required Skill(s): Ship Management, International Convention Regulation, ISM Code, ISPS Code and MLC.
Language Skills:
- Proficient in English is a must.
- Arabic is additional value.
Years of Experience:
- At least 6 year(s) of working experience, with minimum 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS CHIEF ENGINEER .
Nature of Experience:
- Has proven expertise the overall responsibility for the safe, economic, and efficient operation of vessels assigned . He ensures ships are managed and operated in accordance with organizational policies, operating procedures, and management systems.
- Timely completion of a project phase, throughout the terms of the fleet status.
- Ensuring project stays within budget.
- Ensure all assets designed for the project have well documented Planned Maintenance System
