Finance Manager - iGaming

Salary: €60,000–€80,000 gross per year
Location: Remote initially, with a flexible hybrid setup in the future

We’re working with a fast-growing iGaming startup looking for an ambitious, hands-on Finance Manager to join at an exciting stage of its growth.

We’re looking for a finance professional with 5–10 years of experience across iGaming and corporate environments , combining strong technical expertise in accounting, taxation and audits with proven leadership and managerial experience. Experience managing corporate structures is a strong advantage.

This is much more than a traditional finance role. You’ll initially take ownership of day-to-day finance operations, including accounting, cash flow, payments and reporting, while working closely with the CEO as a key strategic partner.

As the company grows, you’ll have the opportunity to build processes, develop the finance function and lead the team. The role starts fully remote and will eventually move to a highly flexible hybrid setup. You’ll also play a role in establishing the company’s future office.

The Role

- Take ownership of day-to-day financial operations, accounting, cash flow and payments.
- Manage financial reporting, forecasting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll and financial records.
- Oversee accounting, taxation, audits and compliance, including VAT, corporate tax and relevant gaming duties.
- Manage relationships with banks, payment service providers (PSPs), auditors and other external financial partners.
- Support budgeting, financial planning and strategic decision-making.
- Oversee financial matters across corporate structures and related entities.
- Build and improve financial processes, controls and reporting systems.
- Gradually develop and lead the finance function as the business expands.
- Work closely with the CEO, combining hands-on execution with strategic input.

What We’re Looking For

- 5–10 years of relevant finance experience in iGaming and corporate environments.
- Previous experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or Senior Accountant, with demonstrated leadership and managerial responsibilities.
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting, taxation, audits and financial reporting.
- Experience managing cash flow, payments, budgeting and financial controls.
- Experience working with banks, PSPs, auditors and external financial partners.
- Experience managing corporate structures and multiple entities is a strong advantage.
- iGaming experience is highly desirable; experience in FinTech, payments or other international environments is also relevant.
- A hands-on, proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to take ownership and build processes from the ground up.
- Comfortable working directly with senior management and taking on broader responsibilities as the company grows.
