🩺 What You'll Do
- Provide compassionate nursing care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and provider orders.
- Conduct nursing assessments, monitor patient conditions, and respond to healthcare needs.
- Document care accurately and maintain complete medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and the onsite team to coordinate patient care.
- Support chronic disease management, sick call, and ongoing patient health needs.
- Maintain professional standards while protecting patient confidentiality and safety.
Qualifications
✅ What We're Looking For
- Current, unrestricted LPN or RN license in Alabama, or a license that meets applicable state requirements.
- Current CPR certification or the ability to obtain it as required.
- Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
- Dependability and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a healthcare team.
- A commitment to providing respectful, compassionate care to every patient.
- Correctional healthcare experience is welcome but not required.
