Job Overview

LaneStaffing is recruiting an experienced Warehouse Logistics Coordinator for a direct-hire opportunity with an established company in Baytown, Texas.

This is a primarily administrative position responsible for coordinating warehouse logistics, transportation dispatch, order processing, and customer deliveries. The ideal candidate has experience in warehouse operations but is especially skilled in organizing logistics activities, communicating with drivers and internal departments, and ensuring orders are processed and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily warehouse logistics activities, including transportation scheduling, dispatching, and order processing.
- Communicate with drivers, warehouse personnel, production teams, planners, and customer service departments to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Schedule and coordinate customer deliveries, ensuring orders are accurate and delivered within established timelines.
- Monitor product availability, order status, delivery schedules, and upcoming order requirements.
- Work with warehouse personnel to coordinate proper product storage, handling, and distribution.
- Track warehouse and logistics performance indicators, including order accuracy, delivery performance, and operational efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and logistics documentation.
- Identify potential shipping or delivery delays and communicate with the appropriate departments to resolve issues.
- Support warehouse safety, cleanliness, organization, and established operating procedures, including 5S standards.
- Assist with other administrative and logistics coordination responsibilities as needed.

Required Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, transportation coordination, or a related field.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple orders, deliveries, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively with drivers, warehouse personnel, and other departments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while contributing to a team.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience scheduling transportation, coordinating dispatch activities, or working with delivery drivers.
- Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
- Familiarity with warehouse management or enterprise resource planning systems, particularly SAP or IFS.
- Department of Transportation (DOT) certification — preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines.
- Experience in marine logistics, vessel supplies, or related industries.
- Experience monitoring warehouse or transportation performance metrics.
