About this role
- Supervise and lead tile masons on construction and landscaping projects.
- Read and interpret project drawings, plans, and tile layout designs.
- Ensure tiles and stones are properly cut, laid, aligned, and finished according to project specifications.
- Prepare and level surfaces before tile installation.
- Ensure correct application of tile adhesives, grout, and sealants.
- Monitor daily attendance, staff productivity, and work progress.
- Ensure team members follow safety procedures and wear the required PPE.
- Coordinate with the construction and landscaping teams to meet project deadlines.
- Identify and resolve site issues, delays, and quality concerns.
- Report daily progress, manpower requirements, and site issues to management.
- Maintain quality standards, proper use of tools, and cleanliness of the work area.
- Lead by example and maintain good communication with team members and management.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tile masonry, preferably in landscaping or outdoor construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of tile installation techniques, tools, and materials.
- Proven leadership experience; experienced tile masons with the ability to lead a team may also be considered.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Willingness to work outdoors and handle construction materials.
- Candidates must have experience specifically in tiling . Experience in plastering or general masonry alone will not be considered.
