About this role
You will closely monitor our cost development to accurately determine our standard cost used by various departments to steer our business. You will get into the details of our transport, port, and terminal cost to identify cost drivers. You will highlight your insights to various teams for their awareness and support them on related cost saving initiatives.
- Education & Experience: High school diploma with 2+ years of work experience, preferably in the logistics industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; basic knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Analytical: Strong attention to detail, with a focus on data accuracy, being able to identify discrepancies and to ensure high-quality outputs
- Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, proactive, and demonstrates accountability and ownership.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, e.g., when explaining changes in cost and their underlying causes.
