Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $21.00 - $23.00 / hour (Depending on Experience)
Schedule: 40-hour work week (Overtime offered from time to time)
Advancement: Performance evaluation after 90 days
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly efficient, fast-paced CNC Set-Up Person . In this role, you must be quick on setups and highly proficient with live tooling and FANUC controls . While your primary responsibility is getting machines dialed in and ready for production, you will also be required to run a machine from time to time to keep production moving smoothly.
Key Responsibilities Perform fast and accurate machine setups using blueprints, setup sheets, and job routers. Set up and align live tooling lathes/mills efficiently to minimize machine downtime. Read, interpret, and edit G-code at the FANUC control panel to optimize cycles and adjust offsets. Install, configure, and change out cutting tools, fixtures, holders, and attachments. Run first-article inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify part dimensions. Operate and run the machines when needed to meet production deadlines or fill in gaps.
Qualifications & Skills Experience: Proven experience as a CNC Setup Machinist, specifically working with live tooling . Control Proficiency: Direct experience navigating and editing FANUC controls is strictly required. Speed & Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and independently without sacrificing safety or quality. Flexibility: Willingness to both set up complex jobs and step in to run production as needed. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
