About this role

The Business Strategy and Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

In this role, you will serve as a core strategic thought partner to APAC Large Customer Sales (LCS) senior leadership, shaping the commercial direction and long-term Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for the business. Your mission is to accelerate business growth by leading high-impact initiatives, unlocking cross-sector and product growth opportunities, and driving precision commercial execution at scale.

APAC Central Operations is a team that unlocks significant business for the region, and you will be at the center of it. The pace is fast, the stakes are high and the problems are rarely tidy. You will distill a complex issue into a crisp leadership narrative, and build an enablement playbook or untangle an escalation with partners across the region.

You will thrive if you are comfortable with ambiguity, collaborative by nature, and motivated by turning complexity into clarity at pace.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

Minimum qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

- 6 years of experience in go-to-market strategy, sales operations, strategy and operations, management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or program management.

- Experience leading operational initiatives that drive business growth or go-to-market execution, with experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, operations, or investment banking.

- Experience with core business operations (e.g., annual business planning, headcount management, running business reviews, or target setting).

- Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience in running business rhythms, governance or enablement programs: for e.g., leadership forums, metrics frameworks, escalation processes or sales enablement, with project management across time zones.

- Experience with data analysis, generating data-driven insights to influence decision-making.

- Understanding of Google Ads ecosystem, sales or GTM motions, or digital advertising, ideally with exposure to the APAC markets.

- Ability to break down cross-functional problems using data, turning them into clear, actionable recommendations for business direction and priorities.

- Ability to build trusted partnerships with senior leaders, challenging constructively, resolve conflicting priorities and land decisions in high-stakes forums.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment with limited oversight and strong executive presence.

- Act as a strategic thought partner to APAC LCS senior leadership. Run the forums where major commercial decisions get made, including Regional SteerCos, global OpCos and Sponsor Syncs. Turn complex topics into sharp decisions and clear owners.

- Devise APAC cross-markets and cross-channel policy strategy, effectively advocate regional needs to influence global priorities and roadmap, establish principled framework for prioritization of various market needs within APAC.

- Shape metrics governance by defining the KPIs, dashboards and cadences that show leaders where to act.

- Steer escalation governance end-to-end. Unblock what matters most and feed the learnings back into how we work.

- Own policy business reviews and sales enablement. Translate fast-moving guidance into simple playbooks that help sales teams with clients.
