Desirable:

- Experience with feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, financial modelling or business planning.
- Experience supporting project implementation, reimbursement, monitoring, verification or audit.
- Previous experience in consulting or another professional service environment.
- Experience using AI-enabled tools or workflow automation to streamline document review, data extraction, reporting or knowledge management.

In this role, you will primarily:

- Research and analyse EU and national funding programs, State aid schemes, applicable guidelines and related regulatory requirements.
- Assess the eligibility and funding readiness of applicants, investment projects, activities and expenditure, and identify relevant funding opportunities.
- Contribute to funding strategies and prepare or support funding applications, business plans, feasibility-related analyses, cost-benefit analyses, financial models and supporting documentation.
- Review technical, financial, commercial and legal inputs relevant to funding eligibility, project readiness and implementation, working with appropriate specialists where required.
- Assess consistency across project scope, technical assumptions, eligible costs, financing sources, implementation milestones, indicators and supporting evidence.
- Identify information gaps, inconsistencies, implementation risks and potential compliance issues, and formulate clear recommendations and clarification requests.
- Support implementation and monitoring of funded projects, including eligible expenditure, procurement-related documentation, project changes, indicators, reporting obligations and preparation for verification or audit.
- Take ownership of defined project workstreams, coordinate inputs from client teams and other advisers, and escalate significant issues to project management.
- Prepare clear, accurate and well-structured reports, presentations, applications and other client deliverables; review selected work prepared by junior colleagues and provide practical guidance.
- Participate in client meetings, maintain effective working relationships and contribute to proposals, credentials, market research and internal methodologies.
