The Housing Advisor (Rents) role is a customer‑facing position within the City and County of Swansea's Housing Service. You will work in a dynamic Rents Team, assisting tenants with rent account queries, payment arrangements and arrears management. The role requires clear communication, problem‑solving skills and a commitment to delivering high‑quality service in line with council policies and statutory guidance.

- A minimum of 2 years experience in a customer‑facing housing or rent administration role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply housing legislation and council policies.
- Proficiency with housing management software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent numeracy and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
- Commitment to delivering high‑quality public service.
- Full Welsh or English language proficiency (both preferred).
- Relevant qualifications such as a Level 3 Diploma in Housing or equivalent.
