About this role

At Atlassian, we are looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager (P60) to spearhead the business growth of our Product Collection portfolio. In this role, you will lead complex initiatives from ambiguous problem definition through execution, experimentation, and learning.

You will connect high-level strategy to measurable customer and business outcomes, driving low-touch growth, persona targeting, and adoption across our evolving product suite.

Working at Atlassian

Atlassians can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity.

In this role, you will:

- Lead Growth & Strategy: Own significant product and growth opportunities end-to-end, connecting product vision to clear, measurable business impact.
- Drive Product Execution: Lead prioritization, roadmap decisions, incremental delivery, risk management, and outcome tracking across cross-functional teams.
- Champion Data-Informed Discovery: Formulate hypotheses, design experiments, and leverage deep quantitative data alongside qualitative customer feedback to guide strategic decisions.
- Influence Across Boundaries: Partner closely with Design, Engineering, Data Science, and Go-To-Market (GTM) teams to deliver seamless user journeys and drive adoption.
- Elevate Product Craft: Coach and mentor product managers while championing best practices in product discovery, delivery, and experimentation.

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

- End-to-End Ownership: Proven track record owning a significant SaaS product, platform, or growth initiative from discovery to scaled delivery.
- Strong Product Execution: Demonstrated ability to manage complex dependencies, balance short-term delivery with long-term strategy, and make sound trade-offs under constraints.
- Deep Data Fluency: Expertise in defining metrics, interpreting funnel analytics, designing A/B tests/experiments, and translating insights into action.
- Leadership & Influence: Strong ability to build alignment, resolve conflicts, and drive momentum across cross-functional teams without relying solely on formal authority.
- Customer-Centric Judgment: Empathy for user needs paired with structured, pragmatic decision-making in ambiguous and evolving environments.
- Mentorship & Craft: Experience coaching other PMs and improving team-wide product management practices.

Why you’ll love this role:

- High Impact: Shape the growth trajectory of one of Atlassian’s most dynamic and strategic product portfolios.
- Autonomy & Scope: Drive meaningful product direction in a culture that champions experimentation, customer empathy, and continuous learning.
- World-Class Team: Collaborate daily with talented craft leaders across Product, Engineering, Design, and Marketing.

Minimum Qualifications (Must-Haves)

- End-to-End Ownership: Proven experience owning a significant SaaS product, platform, or growth initiative end-to-end.
- Product Execution: Strong track record in prioritization, roadmap definition, risk management, incremental delivery, and outcome measurement.
- Customer Discovery & Insight: Demonstrated ability to define complex customer problems, validate solutions, and use both qualitative feedback and quantitative insights to guide product decisions.
- Data Fluency: Deep analytical skills with experience defining metrics, interpreting funnel/growth data, and running data-informed experiments.
- Influence & Leadership: Proven ability to build alignment and influence across cross-functional teams and organizational boundaries without relying solely on formal authority.
- Structured Decision-Making: Clear communication and structured problem-solving when navigating ambiguity, trade-offs, and changing business environments.
- Customer-Centric Judgment: Demonstrated ability to make thoughtful trade-offs between customer value, business impact, quality, and technical/delivery constraints.
- Mentorship & Craft: Experience coaching other product managers or actively improving team-wide product management practices.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

- Experience leading product strategy and driving growth across multi-product portfolios, platforms, or complex customer segments.
- Experience shaping go-to-market (GTM) motions, packaging/pricing strategies, or driving user adoption and behavior change.
- Experience applying AI-assisted workflows to enhance product discovery, data analysis, and execution.
