Job Title: Front Office Medical Assistant Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Front Office Medical Assistant with back office experience to join our team. This role involves appointment scheduling, insurance verification, demographic intake, and EMR data entry. You will also be responsible for answering inbound calls, addressing patient questions, and coordinating daily schedules with the physical therapy team.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Verify insurance and perform demographic intake.
- Complete intake paperwork and enter data into EMR systems.
- Answer inbound calls and address patient inquiries.
- Coordinate closely with the physical therapy team on daily schedules.
- Room patients effectively and efficiently.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Outgoing personality to be the face of the clinic
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Experience with medical software such as Athena
- Prior experience in medical front office, clinic, or healthcare administration
- Experience in physical therapy, orthopedics, or specialty clinic preferred
Work Environment
You will be part of a dynamic team with two colleagues currently in the role, reporting to the Physical Therapy Supervisor. The working hours are Monday and Wednesday from 10:30 AM to 7 PM, Tuesday from 9:30 AM to 6 PM, Thursday from 10 AM to 6:30 PM, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 5 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bridgewater, NJ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
