University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Aides in Canton, MI. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to clients in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor and report changes in clients health and wellbeing to nursing staff
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, cleaning, and organizing
- Assist with medication reminders as directed
- Follow care plans and instructions from supervisors and healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills
- Ability to pass background checks
- Valid drivers license or reliable transportation preferred
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
