We're looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance team in Cairo, supporting accounting operations across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region , including Egypt, Morocco, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting month-end activities across multiple markets.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Financial Accountant, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of accounting activities, including:

Financial Accounting & Reporting

- Support month-end close activities and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
- Prepare accruals, revaluations, reconciliations, and reporting submissions
- Support local-to-group reporting processes and month-end financial reviews
- Assist with hyperinflation reporting and statutory accounting requirements

Accounts Receivable

- Prepare and issue customer invoices and service contract billings
- Review chargeable work and ensure accurate revenue recognition
- Manage electronic invoicing requirements through local tax portals
- Maintain accurate customer records and supporting documentation

Accounts Payable & Payments

- Review, validate, and process supplier invoices
- Prepare and manage payment runs in line with agreed payment terms
- Coordinate payment approvals and ensure timely vendor settlements
- Monitor aged payables and support effective cash management

Reconciliations & Controls

- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve outstanding reconciling items
- Ensure strong financial controls and accurate accounting records

Employee Expenses

- Review and process employee expense claims through Concur
- Ensure compliance with company policies
- Coordinate reimbursement payments across multiple countries

Regional Finance Support

- Support accounting activities across Egypt, Morocco, UAE, and Saudi Arabia
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and confirmations
- Collaborate with regional stakeholders to ensure reporting deadlines are met

Inventory & Fixed Assets

- Participate in inventory counts and stock verification activities
- Manage fixed asset accounting and monthly depreciation processes

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Experience

- 3-4 years' experience in a Financial Accountant or similar accounting role
- Solid understanding of core accounting principles and month-end processes
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- Multi-country or regional accounting exposure is advantageous
