University Home Care Inc is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with extensive field experience to join our team as a Palliative Care Nurse. Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients with serious illnesses, focusing on comfort and quality of life.
- Work independently in the field, managing patient care plans and coordinating with healthcare teams.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care effectively.
- Educate patients and families about palliative care techniques and symptom management.
- Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and University Home Care Inc policies.
Requirements
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
- Proven experience working in the field, preferably in palliative or home care settings.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently.
- Must be able to travel to Wayne, Macomb, and Oakland counties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to nursing care.
