Job Description

We are looking for an experienced SAP Data Migration Consultant to support data migration activities within SAP implementation, transformation, and deployment environments.

The role focuses on ensuring data quality, accuracy, and readiness throughout the migration process, including data cleansing, field mapping, preparation, validation, and verification. You will work closely with functional and technical teams to support successful migration cycles, resolve data-related issues, and ensure the timely delivery of assigned data objects.

What You Will Be Doing:

- Perform data cleansing, field mapping, and preparation activities for assigned SAP data objects.
- Support data migration cycles, including preparation, execution, validation, and verification of migration runs.
- Coordinate and support data cleansing and data quality improvement activities.
- Analyze data quality reports, migration readiness, data discrepancies, defects, and loading issues.
- Review and maintain Data Migration Workbooks (DMWs) and other migration-related documentation.
- Identify, investigate, and support the resolution of issues related to SAP migration and data loading tools.
- Monitor and report on migration progress, data readiness, risks, dependencies, and outstanding issues.
- Collaborate with functional, technical, and business teams to ensure data quality and successful migration activities.

Qualifications

- Experience with SAP data migration activities within implementation, transformation, or deployment projects.
- Strong SAP SD and MM knowledge, including relevant business processes, data structures, and dependencies.
- Hands-on experience with SAP data migration involving SD/MM data objects, including master data.
- Strong knowledge of data cleansing, field mapping, data preparation, validation, and verification.
- Experience analyzing data quality reports, migration defects, data discrepancies, and migration-related issues.
- Knowledge of SAP data migration and loading tools, including Data Migration Workbooks (DMWs).
- Good understanding of SAP configurations and cross-functional data dependencies.
- Experience with data cleansing cycles and data quality improvement activities.
- Experience preparing and maintaining migration documentation and tracking data readiness.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Fluent English.
