What this role is about

Do you want to do more than just support complex strategic topics and actively drive them forward? In this role, you will work at the intersection of strategy, processes, technology, and legal requirements, turning complex challenges into sustainable solutions and well-founded decisions.

Your day-to-day responsibilites

- You lead strategic, cross-partner projects and initiatives that are highly relevant to PAYBACK, our partners, and senior management, taking on either project leadership or a coordinating role depending on the topic.
- You manage topics with a strong process, technology, and legal focus and coordinate collaboration between relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- You support initiatives aimed at expanding our reach and take ownership of processes related to consent management and data privacy-compliant data usage.
- You analyze KPIs and processes, identify optimization opportunities, and translate your findings into data-driven recommendations and process solutions.
- You manage alignment and decision-making processes at senior management and executive level and present complex topics in a clear and audience-appropriate way.
- You use modern technologies and AI-powered solutions to increase the efficiency and impact of your projects.
- You are part of a two-person team, independently own your area of responsibility, and report directly to the department head.

- You have a university degree in business, economics, or a comparable qualification.
- You have experience in project management or consulting within a complex business environment, ideally in the services sector.
- You have independently managed cross-functional projects and know how to bring different stakeholders together successfully.
- You have strong analytical skills, take a data-driven approach, and can derive sound decisions and actionable recommendations from KPIs.
- You have a strong sense of ownership, take initiative, and develop pragmatic solutions even for complex challenges.
- You are confident working with senior management and decision-making bodies and can communicate complex topics in a structured and easy-to-understand way.
- You are fluent in German and have a good command of written and spoken English.
