Position Summary

The Esthetician is responsible for providing personalized esthetic services in a warm, professional, and welcoming environment. This position consults with each guest to understand their needs and expectations, selects appropriate tools, techniques, and products, and delivers services with care and attention to comfort.

The Esthetician also helps guests understand spa offerings and amenities, maintains treatment spaces according to Spa protocols, and partners with fellow team members to support a seamless and memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Consult with each guest to customize their spa service based on their needs and expectations.

- Ask appropriate questions and listen carefully to understand guest preferences and concerns.

- Use tools, techniques, and products appropriate for each type of treatment.

- Apply knowledge of basic and advanced esthetic techniques when providing services.

- Maintain awareness of contraindications and common skin conditions, and respond appropriately within the scope of the role.

- Anticipate guest needs and check in where appropriate to support guest comfort throughout the service.

- Maintain service standards during every guest interaction and help create a warm, comfortable, hospitable environment.

- Respond to guest questions and suggest spa amenities, products, and treatments based on their needs.

- Create thoughtful experiences that encourage guests to return, refer friends, and share positive feedback.

- Exhibit professionalism and teamwork when interacting with guests and fellow employees.

- Maintain treatment rooms and common areas according to Spa protocols.

- Follow established Spa procedures and communicate relevant guest needs or operational concerns to the appropriate team member.

- Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Skincare diploma.

- Current Florida cosmetology license.

- Ability to communicate clearly in spoken English.

- Fluency in a second language is a plus.

- Experience in a high-end spa setting preferred.

- Skill level equivalent to three years of experience.

- Knowledge of basic and advanced esthetic techniques.

- Awareness of contraindications and common conditions.

- A great listener who is skilled at asking appropriate questions.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to exert physical effort to move items weighing up to 15 pounds .

- Ability to perform various physical movements throughout work areas, including walking, bending, stooping, squatting, and standing.

- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, up to an entire shift.

- Ability to reach up to 3 feet .

- Ability to work in areas with variable temperature and humidity.
