About this role
We are seeking a hands-on Application Developer to design, build, test, and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. You will independently deliver medium-complexity features, contribute to technical design, troubleshoot production issues, and guide junior developers while working within enterprise architecture and platform standards.
The role supports Commercial and Marketing organizations across Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service, and Field Service; authenticated customer and partner portals built on Power Pages; and integrations with Eloqua and Oracle ERP.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Dynamics 365 technical design and development
- Design and deliver medium-complexity Dynamics 365 solutions across data models, forms, views, business process flows, automation, integrations, and security.
- Build plug-ins, custom APIs, JavaScript form scripting, Dataverse Web API integrations, and selected PCF controls using maintainable patterns.
- Evaluate standard functionality, configuration, low-code automation, and custom code; recommend an approach based on maintainability, performance, security, and supportability.
- Implement and review Dataverse security configurations, including business units, roles, teams, field-level security, and record sharing.
- Diagnose production issues involving plug-ins, transactions, performance, security, access, and integrations using trace logs and platform diagnostics.
- Contribute to solution management and ALM, including solution layering, managed solutions, environment strategy, automated deployments, and release-wave readiness.
- Build model-driven and canvas Power Apps and Power Automate flows with robust validation, error handling, monitoring, and operational documentation.
- Document design decisions and raise significant architectural trade-offs to senior developers, platform owners, or enterprise architects.
Power Pages and integrations
- Design, develop, and support authenticated customer and partner experiences using Power Pages, Liquid, web templates, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, forms, lists, and the Power Pages Web API.
- Implement web roles, table permissions, page permissions, and approved identity patterns; validate authorization and record-level access.
- Troubleshoot portal authentication, registration, authorization, data access, performance, and accessibility issues.
- Develop and support integrations between Dynamics 365, Eloqua, Oracle ERP, and Azure services, including monitoring and failure handling.
Delivery, mentoring, and business collaboration
- Translate approved requirements into technical designs, user stories, estimates, tasks, and acceptance criteria for assigned features or workstreams.
- Own assigned features through development, testing, release readiness, deployment, and production stabilization; keep Azure DevOps status, risks, and dependencies current.
- Participate actively in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, demos, retrospectives, backlog refinement, and release planning across time zones.
- Review code and configuration, reinforce development standards, and coach junior developers through implementation questions and defects.
- Partner with Commercial and Marketing stakeholders to understand workflows, explain options and trade-offs, validate proposed behavior, and demonstrate completed solutions.
- Prototype practical Dynamics 365 AI and Copilot Studio use cases, support showcases, and incorporate user feedback into improvements.
