About the role: We provide baggage handling systems for 600 airports worldwide, moving more than 4 billion pieces of baggage each year. These systems generate large volumes of operational data, creating opportunities to build digital services that help our airport customers understand and improve their operations.
As a DevOps Engineer within Digital Services Airports (DSA), you will help build, operate and continuously improve the cloud platform and services behind our airport digital solutions. You will work in an agile, multidisciplinary team with hands-on responsibility across Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, GitOps, Java/Spring Boot APIs, security, networking and observability.

What you’ll do:

- Build, maintain and operate cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Manage infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Develop reusable CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using Azure DevOps, Bamboo or similar technologies.
- Implement and maintain GitOps deployments with ArgoCD and Helm.
- Develop, maintain and troubleshoot REST APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Deploy and operate Java/Spring Boot services using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Manage and troubleshoot Azure networking, including private connectivity, ingress, DNS, load balancing, NSGs, firewalls and TLS/certificates.
- Work with Azure RBAC, managed identities, service principals and Azure Key Vault.
- Improve platform and service reliability through monitoring, observability, alerting, incident management and automation. •
- Embed security by design and shift-left security throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Improve developer experience through reusable components, automation, documentation and standardized delivery practices.
- Support the deployment and operation of digital services for airport customers worldwide.
- Help strengthen DevOps practices, automation and operational ownership across DSA.

What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer with a strong platform engineering mindset and software development capability.
You should be comfortable moving across the full technology stack, whether that means improving a Terraform module, developing or troubleshooting a Spring Boot API, building a reusable CI/CD pipeline, diagnosing an AKS networking issue, managing an ArgoCD deployment, or improving platform observability.
You enjoy working across the complete lifecycle of our digital services:
Develop → Build → Deploy → Secure → Operate → Observe → Improve
Most importantly, you bring an automation and ownership mindset and want to help DSA deliver scalable, secure and reliable digital services to airport customers around the world.
