Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Includes a 30-minute lunch break)
Work Environment: Indoor Facility & Outdoor Yard
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operator / Yard Associate for a long-term, full-time opportunity. In this role, you will operate a sit-down forklift both inside the facility and outside in the yard to load, unload, and stage materials. You will also pull orders accurately, stepping off the forklift to manually select items as needed. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across both indoor and outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities
Forklift Operation: Safely operate a sit-down forklift inside the warehouse and out in the yard area to transfer materials and inventory.
Loading & Unloading: Unload incoming shipments and load outgoing trucks and transport vehicles efficiently.
Order Selection: Accurately pull orders based on order sheets, pick lists, or supervisor directives.
Manual Material Handling: Dismount the forklift to manually pull, move, lift, or stage orders when necessary.
Yard & Facility Maintenance: Assist in keeping both indoor areas and outdoor yard spaces clean, organized, and safe.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and safe equipment operation practices at all times.
Qualifications & Requirements
Prior experience operating a sit-down forklift.
Comfort working in both indoor and outdoor environments across varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform manual order pulling tasks off the forklift.
High attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
Strong reliability, communication skills, and punctuality for the 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM shift.
