Position Overview
Citadel Security USA is hiring an attentive and dependable Unarmed Mobile Patrol Officer to cover overnight assignments in Columbia and Moberly. This position involves traveling between designated properties, checking for unauthorized individuals, observing property conditions, and identifying situations that may require attention.
The officer will work independently for much of the shift and must be comfortable driving between locations during nighttime hours. We are looking for someone who takes responsibility for assigned routes, communicates concerns promptly, and can use sound judgment when handling unexpected situations.
Key Responsibilities
Mobile Patrol & Property Inspections
- Travel to assigned properties in Columbia and Moberly according to the established schedule.
- Conduct routine checks of buildings, parking areas, and surrounding grounds.
- Watch for unauthorized individuals, suspicious activity, visible damage, or unusual conditions.
- Maintain awareness of property conditions during each patrol visit.
- Complete assigned patrol routes and ensure required checks are not overlooked.
Problem Identification & Reporting
- Recognize potential issues and determine the appropriate response within established procedures.
- Report suspicious activity, property damage, and other concerns promptly.
- Notify the appropriate supervisor when an incident requires additional attention.
- Maintain accurate records of patrol activity, observations, and incidents.
- Provide clear updates to support follow-up when necessary.
Driving & Operational Standards
- Operate a vehicle safely while traveling between assigned locations.
- Follow scheduled routes and manage travel time responsibly.
- Maintain focus and alertness throughout overnight assignments.
- Demonstrate punctuality and reliable attendance.
- Follow company procedures and communicate any obstacles that affect patrol completion.
- Provide coverage during designated holidays as part of the regular assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Minimum of 3 years of licensed driving experience.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to travel between Columbia and Moberly for scheduled assignments.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours.
- Ability to remain attentive and respond appropriately to changing conditions.
