The Integration HOD — Hyderabad leads a shared capability that turns routine Integration work into a predictable cross-show service rather than separate show-by-show coordination. They combine strong Tracking / Matchmove / RotoAnim / simple Layout judgement with production leadership: triaging requests, routing work through Leads and artists, balancing demand and capacity, setting validation standards and ensuring reliable handoffs. The role gives shows one accountable Integration contact while preserving specialist / show ownership for difficult, ambiguous or highly creative cases. As the team proves readiness, the Integration HOD — Hyderabad expands the range and complexity of work the department can absorb.

Key Responsibilities

- Own cross-show intake, triage, prioritisation and delivery for agreed Integration work classes.
- Apply specialist-defined standards, workflows and validation gates for Tracking, Matchmove, RotoAnim and basic Layout; ensure cameras, solves, scale and scene context are ready for handoff.
- Direct daily delivery through Hyderabad discipline Leads or Supervisors (as needed) and artists, with clear review gates and escalation paths.
- Partner with Production on capacity, scheduling, utilisation, forecasting and cross-show priority conflicts.
- Act as the accountable Integration contact for CG / VFX Supervisors and show Production, communicating status, assumptions, risks, options and downstream readiness.
- Implement specialist-approved workflows, templates, publishing and scene conventions; identify improvements with specialist HODs and Pipeline / TD teams.
- Build the department by developing Leads and artists, owning people-management and capability growth, shaping staffing and hiring needs, measuring quality / throughput, and expanding scope as readiness improves.

Qualifications

- 8+ years of feature-film or episodic VFX experience with substantial Tracking, Matchmove, RotoAnim, Layout or Integration responsibility.
- Proven leadership experience as a Tracking, Matchmove, RotoAnim, Layout, Integration or CG Supervisor / Lead in high-end VFX.
- Deep understanding of camera and object tracking, RotoAnim, lens distortion, survey / photogrammetry inputs, scene scale, perspective and layout fundamentals.
- Strong cross-show production leadership: planning, prioritisation, capacity management, dependency management and clear communication across departments and locations.
- Experience with USD or equivalent modern scene-description / assembly workflows is highly valued.
- Bachelor's degree in Digital Arts, Computer Graphics or equivalent professional experience.
