About this role

Summary

This is a part-time role: 15- 20 hours per week; work location: hybrid

The Data and Outcomes Specialist helps Hope Haven collect, understand, and use information about client outcomes, program performance, and organizational impact. This position coordinates data collection across departments, strengthens data quality and reporting practices, analyzes qualitative and quantitative information, and translates findings into useful insights for staff, leadership, the Board of Directors, and funders.

This role requires more than technical proficiency. Recovery is personal, nonlinear, and influenced by factors such as trauma, mental and physical health, housing instability, family relationships, employment, and access to resources. The successful candidate will understand both the value and the limitations of data in measuring changes in human behavior. They will work collaboratively with clinical, program, administrative, and development staff to identify measures that are meaningful, ethical, realistic, and useful.

The ideal candidate combines practical data skills with significant experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, homelessness services, housing, public health, social work, or another human services field.
