Job Responsibilities and Duties:

This position will function as a maintenance mechanic, structural steel fabricator and pipe fitter for the site facilities to include maintaining mechanical systems, building repairs and troubleshooting of all related systems. Maintenance work in the concentrator will include, but is not limited to, welding, cutting and all related mechanical work. Individual may be assigned other duties at the discretion of the company.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required

- 5 years verifiable mechanic experience to include welding and maintenance of process equipment and piping systems, or equivalent mechanical and construction experience with skills necessary to meet applicable task proficiency matrix.

- Ability to obtain welder certification (AWS certified QC7-93, structural, all positions).

- Pump maintenance experience.

- Cutting, welding and fabrication experience.

- Pipe fitting and layout.

- Ability to work in both surface and underground environments.

- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in written forms.

- Reading and understanding manuals, schematics, written instructions, etc.

- Proven safe working record.

- Self-motivated, independent work habits.

- Required personal tools per the Surface Mechanic tool list.

Preferred

- Working knowledge of building mechanical and electrical systems .

- Mechanical system troubleshooting skills and experience.

Education & Experience

- High School Education or GED
