Stillwater Mine - Nye, MT

Schedule:

Rotating - 7X7

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Ability to work in a team environment for safe and productive muck handling. Perform other duties as assigned from time to time at the discretion of the company.

- Working with rods up to 1200 pounds and rotating equipment.

- Prepare, set, move and repair equipment.

- Equipment Operator- LHD's, trucks, utility vehicles, small hoists, and skid steers.

- Understand and follow written or verbal instructions.

- Perform any assigned work by supervisor.

- Ability to work without direct supervision.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.

- Ability to communicate and work well with fellow workers in a team environment.

- Understanding of and strong commitment to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

- Valid Driver's License.

Preferred:

- Previous underground experience.

- One-year raisebore experience.

- Mechanical aptitude.

- Able to work from manuals, prints, and drawings.

- Jackleg and sinking hammer experience.

- Proficient in the use of explosives - must have ATF clearance.

- Installation of ground control.

- Good safety record; working knowledge of operational safety regulations and requirements.
