Pay Details & Schedule
- Average annual pay: $89,000–$99,000
- Mileage rate: $0.52–$0.57 CPM
- Average miles: 1,565 per week
- $10,000 Bonus
- Home daily
- Available schedules: Tuesday–Saturday or Wednesday–Sunday
- Start times between 4 PM and 11 PM; applicants must be flexible with available start times
- More desirable shifts may become available based on tenure/seniority
- Holiday schedule: Thanksgiving and New Year's may require work; Christmas off
- Medical coverage available after 30 days
- 6 paid holidays
Job Details
- Local intermodal routes within a 250-mile radius of Harrisburg, PA
- The tractor will be left @ the terminal: 2367 Sycamore St., Harrisburg PA 17111 for time off.
- No NYC routes
- Transport freight to and from two local rail yards
- Priority loading and unloading at designated rail yards
- Approximately 2–5 loads per day
- Slip-seat operation; tractors remain at the terminal during time off
- Manual and automatic trucks available; drivers must be able to operate either unless restricted by their CDL
- On-site management, maintenance, and modern trucking technology
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 3 months of verifiable truck driving experience
- Minimum age of 21
- Clean driving record and valid DOT Medical Card
- No SAP drivers
- Must pass a drug test
- Non-smokers only
- Hazmat endorsement not required at hire but must be obtained within 60 days
- $60 Hazmat application expense reimbursement available with receipts; final reimbursement after the endorsement appears on the physical CDL
- Must be flexible with assigned start times and available schedules
