CDL-A Local Retail Delivery Driver – Butte, MT
Pay Details & Schedule
- Hourly Pay: $30–$33 per hour.
- Average Weekly Gross: $1,634.62.
- Average Annual Gross: $85,000.
- Bonus: $10,000.
- Holiday Pay: $240–$264 per day.
- New-Hire Training: $30/hour.
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, with potential Saturday work during peak season.
- Start Time: 2:30 AM–5:00 AM.
- Shift Length: Approximately 10–12 hours.
- Home Time: Home daily.
- Orientation: Completed online.
Job Details
- Starting Location: 3873 Wynne Ave, Butte, MT 59701.
- Deliver preloaded retail freight within approximately a 420-mile radius of Butte.
- Predetermined weekly routes with approximately 2–4 stops per day.
- Hand-unload boxes onto conveyor or roller ramps at delivery locations.
- Approximately 50–300 boxes per stop and 500–700 boxes per trailer.
- Required unloading rate: approximately 150 boxes per hour.
- Box weights range from 2–100 lbs, averaging 30–60 lbs.
- Occasional warehouse work required.
- Drivers must complete their assigned routes.
Physical Requirements: This is a very labor-intensive position involving frequent, physically demanding unloading.
Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- At least 3 months of truck driving experience.
- Reliable transportation.
- Doubles/triples endorsements preferred.
- No smoking in the truck.
- Uniform and steel-toe boots/shoes provided and required.
- Must be comfortable with frequent heavy lifting and unloading.
