Bartender - Daytime
Casino Fandango is looking for a friendly, dependable, and energetic Bartender to join our Beverage team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys creating great guest experiences, preparing quality beverages, and working in an exciting, fast-paced casino environment.
Job Description
The Casino Bartender provides prompt, courteous beverage service while supporting the daily operations of the Beverage department. This position may also be responsible for witnessing or paying slot jackpots when properly trained and authorized.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide friendly, professional, and responsive service.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages according to established recipes and service standards.
- Create specialty drinks and assist guests with beverage selections.
- Verify identification and follow all alcohol-service requirements.
- Responsibly monitor alcohol consumption to help maintain the safety of guests and team members.
- Operate the InfoGenesis point-of-sale system.
- Accurately handle cash and make change for guests playing at the bar.
- Work collaboratively with the assigned cocktail server and other team members.
- When properly trained and authorized, witness or pay slot jackpots in accordance with company procedures and gaming requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar.
- Remain professional and composed in a fast-paced or potentially stressful environment.
- Work independently while following established policies and procedures.
- Accept coaching and performance feedback professionally.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Previous bartending experience is required.
- Previous cash-handling experience is required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.
- Must successfully complete required alcohol-service certification.
- Must demonstrate the ability to responsibly monitor alcohol consumption and recognize when service should be limited or discontinued.

- Must maintain a professional appearance consistent with company standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work daytime and varied shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime based on business needs.
- Must be able to work in areas that may contain secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright or flashing lights, and dust.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
