University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Westland, MI. Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care and assistance to patients according to established care plans.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Assist in wound care and other clinical procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease management.
Requirements
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Michigan.
- Previous nursing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
